It is difficult for a human to determine air humidity only by his senses. Such sensations, that we usually consider as the signs of dry air, also can be caused by airborne dust or other impurities. The sense of dryness could arise due to the fact that it is simply too warm in the room. In this case the simplest solution is to ventilate the premises and to decrease the temperature by a few degrees.
